Research has revealed that our brains get confused between hunger and thirst.
Many people are eating something when in fact their body is actually calling out for them to drink something hydrating.
Most people today eat quite dry foods like sandwiches, breakfast cereals, toast, chocolate, meat, cookies, potatoes plenty of salty and salty foods like cheese.
The drinks people choose more often than not are tea, coffee which have a diuretic affect (encouraging the kidneys to excrete fluids) or sodas that contain sugar or artificial sweetener and caffeine, not hydrating.
The next time you want to snack – first drink a glass water or a herbal tea (without milk and sugar) and wait 10 minutes.
